COTTAGE

Fleur Cottage sits amongst mature landscaped gardens at the foot of the McGillycuddy Reeks and is the perfect spot for a relaxing holiday. The cottage offers wonderful living space and is decorated to a very high standard.

The Lounge

The Lounge has comfortable seating, wooden flooring, and plenty of soft lighting. The open turf fire floods the room with warmth and comfort: the perfect place to relax after a long walk or a day of fishing. There is also a selection of books and games for guests to use.

The Kitchen

The kitchen is full of character with slate flooring, a modern country kitchen and a Belfast sink. It contains all the expected modern conveniences such as an electric oven/hob, dishwasher, fridge and microwave oven.

The kitchen also has a breakfast table and chairs where guests can sit with an early morning cup of coffee and admire the mature garden through the traditional half door.

The Master Bedroom

The master bedroom boasts a king size bed and exposed stone fireplace. Glazed doors allow access to the sun room and the mountain views beyond.

The Second Bedroom

The Second bedroom contains both a double and a single wrought iron bed. There is an open fireplace and windows which over look the front and back gardens. Two original doorways allow access to the room from each end of the hallway.

The Third Bedroom

The third bedroom has a single traditional style bed and scenic views through to the garden and mountains.

The Sunroom

The Sunroom has large picture windows which afford breathtaking views of Carrauntoohill, the highest mountain in Ireland. A relaxing place in which to enjoy the scenery and chat. Guests can also enjoy the views whilst they dine.

The Bathroom

The Bathroom also has slate flooring and a tongue and grooved enamel bath; a great place for tired muscles to relax after a long day of activities.The bath also has an overhead electric shower.

The Garden

Garden furniture, sun chairs and BBQ are provided and are ideal for al fresco living during the long days of summer. There is fully enclosed parking for at least 3 cars.

Information

Fleur cottage is child friendly. A travel cot and highchair are available and should be booked in advance. As the garden is not fully enclosed we recommend adult supervision for very young children.
